World Science Festival Queensland’s education program for primary and secondary students is designed to engage students in stimulating and inspiring experiences that showcase careers in STEM, including discussions with scientists, hands-on activities and exciting science shows. Friday 17 May              Battle of the Brains at The Empire’s Armitage Centre

Science nerds and trivia fans, assemble! Battle of the Brains is Queensland’s geekiest live game show, where masterminds collide and useless facts reign supreme. World Science Festival Queensland is rolling into town, putting the region’s finest intellects to the test in an epic brain brawl. Join the fun as we crown the Sciencequiz Champions of Toowoomba, featuring Michael Balk, Sue Ray (singer) and more. Saturday 18 May        Community Day at Queensland Museum Cobb+Co

The free World Science Festival Queensland Community Day returns on Saturday 18 May and will feature a program packed with fascinating physical phenomena, energising sports science, real reptiles, engaging workshops and a showcase of Queensland Museum’s incredible collection. The Community Day will feature the CSIRO Investigate Science Exhibit, a self-contained immersive cinema experience into the abyss to uncover the mysteries of the deep, as well as presentations and activities from Engineers Australia, Webuild, Queensland Academy of Sport’s Athlete Testing, QUT Sports Tech and more. World Science Festival Queensland is a free super science showcase for all ages at Queensland Museum Cobb+Co.
